AP EVO-X Carbon Steering Wheel Daytona Edition – suitable for Audi RS6 C8 / RS7 C8 / A6 C8 / A7 C8

Matte carbon. Sporty EVO-X shape. Near-OEM integration.

The AP EVO-X carbon steering wheel is a custom-finished steering wheel variant based on an original Audi steering wheel. It is designed for selected models of the Audi C8 series and combines a sportier look with near-OEM integration.

Design & Appearance

The steering wheel features our AP EVO-X shape with a sportily sculpted, slightly more pronounced rim and ergonomic grip areas.

• Steering wheel rim, top and bottom: matte real carbon fiber, hand-laminated and clear-sealed.
• Grip areas in black nappa leather with matching grey stitching 
• 12 o’clock marker: painted in Daytona Grey matte, multi-layer clear sealed, not perceptible to the touch
• Add-on parts: factory silver elements (steering wheel trim, button surrounds and airbag surround) are painted black for a reduced, sporty OEM+ look.
• Paddle shifters: in an Urus-inspired design, in matte carbon, “+ / –” painted in Daytona Grey

All painted and carbon surfaces are sealed with multiple layers, thus offering high resistance to everyday use. However, normal signs of wear and tear cannot be completely ruled out.

Haptics & Function

The side grip areas are designed so that the steering wheel heating remains usable in these zones (depending on model and equipment).
The factory-installed lane keeping assist/hands-on detection (if present) is generally retained, provided the electronics are correctly configured and integrated.

Since equipment options may vary depending on the vehicle and year of manufacture, compatibility must be checked individually beforehand (e.g. using VIN, photos or part numbers).

Scope of delivery

Included in the delivery are:

• AP EVO-X Carbon steering wheel rim (refined, including carbon and paint work)
• Refined add-on parts (e.g. steering wheel trim, frame/covers, paddle shifters as per product images/description)

Not included are:

• Airbag module
• Electronic components (buttons, control units, sensors, etc.)

These components are transferred from the existing original steering wheel during installation. Installation can be carried out by us or by a qualified workshop or specialist personnel, particularly due to the airbag and safety systems.

Ideally, a final compatibility check (equipment, steering wheel heating, paddle shifters, lane keeping assist, MMI button layout, etc.) is carried out before ordering based on chassis number/part numbers or detailed photos.
